I wanted to take the time to share with others the experience I have had working with Benjamin and Genaro for the past ten years after they took over their fathers Genaro Seniors business when he retired.

I have been a Senior Project manager and Senior Superintendent for Conrado Home builders and Marrone & Marrone for over the past twenty-five years and have had the pleasure working with one of the best prepared Sheetrock Company’s in the area. I have had the opportunity to building some of the finest Estate homes in the bay area and the Barragan family has provided me and our clients with some of the best hangers and finishers in the area from their level five to their old-world finishes are unsurpassed.

Their preparation is highly detailed from frame preparation and working with our framers to assure that the framing is as strength as it can possibly be before any sheetrock is hung on the framing. They cover all floors before any of the mud work starts to insure a clean finish product.

With their four to five step process their finish is flat and shadow free once the finish the sanding with their dust free sanders the walls are able to be whipped clean and prepared for application of PVA’s to except a Plaster finish or wallpaper finishes.

It’s been a pleasure working with these fine craftsmen through the years and getting ready to start another one soon.

The most important aspects of Barragan Drywall are Sharp management, diligent sense of schedule and effective crews in the field for both installation and finish work. The entire team has a willingness to adapt to each projects unique set of variables which is especially important in fine custom home building.

Pete Moffat Construction has been working with Barragan Drywall for over 8 years now and in that time, they’ve become one of our go-to drywall subcontractors. Our firm works in very high-end custom home construction in the San Francisco Bay Area. We work with some of the most demanding clients, architects and designers that the industry has to offer. We expect perfection and I have personally seen Barragan Drywall rise to the occasion on multiple projects since I started working for Pete Moffat as a project manager in 2015. Barragan’s attention to detail, broad range of knowledge and adaptability makes them a pleasure to work with. I think they are great at communication and quick to respond to any issues or changes on our projects. Once awarded a job they are very involved from pre-construction meetings through punch list needs. Sometimes this is over years! They present opportunities for increased efficiency and great upgraded specification alternatives for design when needed as well. Working with Ben and Genaro has been a pleasure and I hope to continue working with them for many years to come.

They continue to take pride in their work which shows in the beautiful textures they create in both the new custom homes and high-end remodels we build. A recent example~

Working on a 100 year old remodel of a home on California’s Historic Registry, more than half of which was taken down to the studs, Barragan took great care to cover and protect the Historic finishes. They carefully tied into the old-school lath and plaster and then produced a feel and appearances on the new construction that seamlessly matched decades old and one-of-a-kind textures. I, along with the Owners & Architect are thrilled.

Additionally, their entire team is professional, organized, and Amely in their approach.

I have been working with Barragan Drywall for nearly five years now and can’t begin to express how satisfied I have been over that period of time with them. Communication is second to none. They are in touch months before their portion of the project starts checking on start dates and following up several times between that first call and the day, they are on site hanging drywall. The job is always well manned and generally comes ahead of schedule with impeccable work along the way. Five stars from me for Barragan Drywall!
